ORTIZ WANTS GRIFFIN BATTLE

Tizo Ortiz has said that he wish to enter the ring to fight against Forrest Griffin. Tizo has won many titles but he could not beat Griffin. So he said that before his official retirement from this particular sport he wants meet Griffin once in the ring. Before this they have met each other in the ring for two times.

Both the wrestlers are former light heavy weight champions and have achieved quite a number of titles. Recently the co owner of UFC, Lorenzo Fertitta has said that he has heard about this particular wish of Ortiz. He is quite eager to arrange this particular match between Forrest Griffin and Tizo Ortiz. But, no official announcement for this match has been made by the authority. It seems the Tizo’s wish is going to be fulfilled by the UFC committee.

Griffin said that he is also eagerly waiting for this match. He also explained that he is going to knock Ortiz down in the third ring clash. It will be perfect farewell match for Ortiz. It is quite understandable that after this particular event, Tizo is going to announce his end of career in UFC.

The fans of both the wrestlers are eager to witness this match. Sources said that the UFC authority has looked down on this particular matter and will most probably arrange this match in the later summers of this year.

In his last ring match Ortiz was knocked down by Antonio Rogerio. This happened in the UFC 140 that was held in Toronto. This loss was TIzo’s second consecutive loss. He said that in his final match, he is surely going to beat Forrest Griffin. Time will only show the real winner. It seems the wrestling fans do not have to wait for this match for long. Soon the official date of this particular match will be announced by the UFC authority.
